The primary function of a dispatch operative is to ensure that orders are accurately picked. Attention to detail is extremely important in this role and orders must be picked and loaded in an efficient manner.
This role requires flexibility with shift patterns. The exact shift you’ll be working will be confirmed at interview with the requirements to work up to two Saturdays per month and bank holidays from time to time.
Experience:
· Pick and Load orders and check quality of pallets.
· Pick priority orders for the morning.
· Keep the dispatch area tidy and empty rubbish bins and prepare bags for delivery to Factory
· Keep tidy layout, stock rotation and monitoring shelf life date on all products
· Help the Team Leaders unloads and load trucks, put new stock into the chill and ensure the rotation and layout is correct.
· Help the team to complete as much as possible.
· Please remember that the order procurement will be done according to the priorities tray and running according to the needs of the team leader, supervisor or manager
· Carry out any other reasonable instruction from management.
Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage.
