Role: Dispatch and Picking Operative
Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Varied hours per week and weekend, as per Christmas requirements
Job purpose
To pack all orders prior to the deadline to be dispatched in line with TH Baker’s terms and conditions, or any other deadline decided by management. Packers may be needed to assist with gift wrapping as and when required. This job will also require working in the Picking department, picking all orders in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of the packaging department including accurate pack size, accurate case labeling.
Controlled use of packaging and organising cases.
Pack items quickly and accurately.
Packers may be asked to help with gift wrapping items during busy periods.
Other Duties
Good attention to detail
Packing items with the appropriate packaging
Meeting necessary deadlines with regards to packing and meeting customers expectations
Advising Head Office Co-Ordinator of low stock on packaging
Packing and dispatching Customer Returns and Exchanges
Must be able to function as part of a team and be able to work independently with minimal supervision as packing schedule dictates.
This is a temporary role to meet Christmas demands until the end of December 2025. Applicants should be fully flexible and able to work weekends.
