JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and enhancing overall logistics operations. This position requires a strong understanding of various logistics functions, including transportation management, warehouse distribution, and process improvement. The Logistics Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and implement strategies that drive efficiency and cost savings.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse management practices.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and freight operations.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques for process improvement.
  • Understanding of e-commerce logistics, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving procedures.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS, AS400, or similar software for logistics operations.
  • Background in procurement, sourcing, or materials management is preferred.
  • Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

Responsibilities

· Track and evaluate daily employee performance using productivity benchmarks and data from systems such as Everlance, GPS tracking, and surveillance footage.
· Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for roles such as drivers, warehouse associates, merchandisers, and sales reps.
· Monitor adherence to schedules, task completion rates, delivery accuracy, time on task, and stop durations.
· Identify trends in underperformance, attendance irregularities, or route inefficiencies; escalate issues to Operations or HR as appropriate.
· Audit time logs and mileage records to verify accuracy and compliance with labor policies.

· Generate performance scorecards to support coaching, disciplinary action, or employee recognition programs.

  • Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
  • Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping and receiving operations.
  • Oversee purchasing activities to maintain adequate supplies for operations.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations.
  • Develop transportation management strategies to optimize freight costs and delivery times.
  • Conduct demand planning to align inventory with customer needs.
  • Utilize ERP systems for data analysis and reporting on logistics performance metrics.
  • Support category management initiatives by analyzing market trends and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations in materials handling and warehouse operations.
  • Assist in the development of packaging solutions that enhance product delivery.
