Contract: Permanent
Holiday: 26 days plus bank holidays
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Due to the exciting expansion of our services, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is launching a brand-new late shift, and we’re looking for dedicated Dispatch Production Assistants to join our team in Gateshead.

As part of our Production Services team, you’ll help ensure the timely and high-quality dispatch of accessible format documents. This hands-on role includes:

• Following established production procedures across areas such as dispatch, braille, secure pin room, audio duplication, and print services.
• Operating specialist production machinery and carrying out basic maintenance.
• Assembling print and accessible format materials, ensuring consistent quality control.
• Performing final proofing and quality checks against agreed standards.
• Managing workloads in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting service deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Supporting a safe workplace by adhering to all health and safety policies, including PPE use.
