Job Description Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehousing Supervisor will lead and work within our team at the Christchurch store helping organise the team to achieve inwards and outwards flow of our goods and materials. You will be leading, motivating and training teams while also having strong problem-solving skills and ensure all stages of the workflow operate seamlessly together. This is a varied role which will see you supervising and participating in day-to-day operational activities, chipping in with auditing and processing of stock, receipting, pricing and repacking as well as working closely with our vendors and all Ballantynes customers, external and internal. Successful Candidate Minimum intermediate proficiency with Microsoft suite of applications and knowledge of inventory platforms Demonstrable leadership and the ability to organise a team to gain efficiency Understand warehousing or inwards/outward goods environment in the retail sector Happy working behind the scenes to build the success of the company Ability to learn the role and take ownership of it and guide others to maximise their abilities Excellent communication and relationship building skills Class 2 licence and a current Forklift licence would be advantageous, but not essential Additional Information This role is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am – 3.30pm.
