Description Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Dispatcher to support our flight school operations and provide day-to-day guidance for other team members. This role involves dispatching and scheduling flights, monitoring aircraft safety, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and dedicated to providing excellent service, and must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Reports to: Flight Operations Coordinator Responsibilities/Duties: Providing daily guidance and coaching to team members while serving as a role model Dispatching flights and checking students in/out of lessons. Re-scheduling flights due to maintenance, weather, and other factors. Ensuring daily operations comply with Kilo Charlie procedures. Assisting with scheduling basic maintenance events. Overseeing fleet safety, including coordinating with others for aircraft handling and ensuring aircraft are secured nightly. Billing flight reservations accurately and on time. Providing excellent customer service. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of facilities. Willing to assist with additional tasks as needed. Requirements Skill Requirements for the Position: Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Ability to work independently and take initiative on various tasks. Strong communication skills to interact with both customers and colleagues. Effective problem-solving abilities to handle flight scheduling changes and customer concerns. Attention to detail to accurately process billing and dispatch procedures. Time management skills to ensure on-time departures and arrivals. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in the aviation field is preferred. Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using relevant software. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to safely operate towing equipment, as well as manually tow and tie down aircraft. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Mobility to move throughout the lobby area and assist customers.
Responsibilities
The Dispatcher - Team Lead will provide daily guidance and coaching to team members while dispatching and scheduling flights. They will ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain excellent customer service.
