About the Role We’re looking for a Dispatch Team Lead to join our Laverton team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth dispatch operations and supporting our supply chain by leading a team and maintaining compliance with safety and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements. In this position, you will work primarily on a Day Shift (6 AM – 2 PM) while overseeing a team that operates across a 24-hour schedule. You’ll play a key role in managing dispatch procedures, training staff, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of all dispatch activities. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of 5 dispatch staff, including training and performance management. Oversee dispatch procedures and resolve operational challenges (orders, pallets, scheduling). Maintain accurate records in SAP and Pallet software. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) laws and site safety standards. Develop and manage rosters and act as a point of contact for after-hours support. Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example. About You Previous experience in Dispatch/Logistics and Supervisory roles is essential. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing challenging team members. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel) and experience with SAP preferred. Knowledge of COR compliance requirements. Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure.
