JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Dispatcher to join our service team. As the Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing Service jobs from start to finish, including scheduling and directing work for Technicians, and ensuring customer expectations are met.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • At least one year of dispatching and/or scheduling experience
  • A university degree in a related field such as business administration or logistics
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
  • A customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to think outside of the box, solve problems, and satisfy customer needs
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities
  • Schedule, coordinate, and assign jobs for Service Technicians
  • Organizes and plans daily drivers’ routes for service.
  • Ensures that the Dispatch department has the proper machines allocated for upcoming orders and makes sure machines are all staged for the next day.
  • Manages the performance of the Dispatch team by leading, training, providing feedback, coaching and administering discipline as appropriate.
  • Monitors the GPS on all delivery vehicles.
  • Reviews and approves the Dispatch employees’ timesheets.
  • Provides supports to Dispatcher on overflow for call offs and moves.
  • Takes calls for customer complaints and ensures the complaints addressed in a timely manner.
  • Reviews and verifies repair invoices for company vehicles.
  • Stays on-call to answer delivery issues, staff call-ins, alarm calls and van service updates.
  • Keeps track of Dispatch reports regarding late services or mistakes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
