Coordinate daily routes and adjust schedules in real time based on demand and emergencies. Communicate effectively with technicians, service managers, and customer service representatives. Monitor job progress and provide updates to customers regarding arrival times and delays. Ensure accurate entry of job details, notes, and customer information in dispatch software (e.g., ServiceTitan). Prioritize calls based on urgency, location, and technician skillset. Support technicians in the field by providing directions, job details, and updates as needed. Work closely with customer service to ensure seamless scheduling and customer experience. Track and manage technician availability, time-offs, and job completion status. Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism in all communications. Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and escalated customer concerns. Help optimize schedules to reduce drive time and increase job capacity. Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to improve dispatch operations. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and technicians. Strong ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with the service area and map reading skills are helpful. Basic understanding of plumbing terminology and service procedures is a plus. Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant computer programs. Minimum two years of experience in dispatch and coordination, preferably in a related industry.
