JOB SUMMARY

Coordinate local P&D traffic for Overland West Freight Lines Ltd.

• As part of the operations team, establish, modify and execute daily dispatch plan.
• Update trip sheets & records in the dispatch system, ensuring the accuracy of miles paid and log hours.
• Day to day communication, via phone and ELD, with drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed along and carried out.
• Manage breakdown situations and follow up with maintenance to ensure that freight is moved through to destination as quickly as possible.
• Coordinate all local deliveries with drivers and dock staff to ensure timely deliveries and pick ups
• Monitor driver performance.
• Track driver vacation schedules and keep information current
