    Location: Costilla Office COJob Req ID: 16571 Join our amazing team and contribute as a:   Dispatcher I ABOUT THE ROLE Responsible for on time performance, order accuracy and maintaining and growing overall truck fleet while maintaining DOT compliance.Assist in growing the company’s hauler selection, DOT compliance, assure compliance with company policies, risk management, DOT andother regulatory requirements. Developcurrent customer base. $45,000 - $57,000/annually + overtime   WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Act as customer contact for delivery inquiries and coordinate the sales order delivery process. Manage incoming internal and external customer phone calls, exercising judgment within specification of standard practices. Ensure customer understands all relevant company policies including will calls, additional products ordered and driver responsibilities. Inform customer of warnings concerning product hazards, load limits, vehicle weights and limitations. Review next day orders to ensure are correctly mapped, have accurate travel times, address and delivery instructions. Other duties as assigned.   Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.   WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: 3-5 years of related experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Basic experience using computers. Experience using dispatch and trucking software preferred, but not required. Excellent oral (telephone) communication skills. Bilingual communications skills are a plus. Ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers. Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Able to prioritize work; strong organization skills. Ability to keep calm in stressful situations   Additional Requirements Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
