Jasliner Freights is looking for a dynamic team member to join our Operations Division as a Dispatch Operative located in Montreal, Quebec. The shift schedule will be during the day, (times may vary) from Monday to Friday at our office location.

Responsibilities may include:

• Working directly with our Operations team, fellow Dispatch Operatives and Road team to ensure deliveries are accommodated as planned.
• Dispatching drivers through a dedicated software.
• Maintain contact with drivers regarding any shipment updates and/or issues.
• Prepare and organize any documentation related to deliveries.
• Coordinating deliveries in advance.
• Any other duties assigned by the Operations manager that may be required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or any certification related to supply chain is considered an asset.
• 1 year of work experience in the Logistics and/or supply chain.
• Full proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and Microsoft One Drive.
• Capable of working in team-oriented environment.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Fully fluent in English (Written and Spoken).
• French considered an asset although not required.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
