The Dispatch Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch department, ensuring efficient coordination of transportation and logistics activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of transportation management systems.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems; experience with SyteLine is a plus.
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with freight operations and logistics processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across various channels.
  • Experience working with 3PL providers to optimize logistics solutions.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data for informed decision-making.
