Syndicate Transport is an asset based, full truck load carrier providing service throughout Western Canada. We are headquartered just outside of Calgary in Rocky View County. Operations including dispatch and customer service are maintained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at both Calgary and Edmonton branches. A specialist in the grocery and retail industries, we offer a full range of services including Tractor/Trailer (dry, reefer, tri-axle, multi-temp), Long Combination Vehicle (LCV), tractor only, and shunting; all with late model equipment.

We are looking for a night dispatcher to join our team. Some training will be provided.

Preferences/Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of previous dispatch experience covering tractor/trailer full loads (preferably temperature controlled shipments) is required
  • Superior customer service and communication skills required
  • Exceptional time management skills required
  • Able to maintain multiple priorities under pressure
  • A positive demeanor and ability to relate to, and support customers and drivers
  • Must be available to work weekends *

Responsibilities
  • Driver planning and assignments
  • Customer load planning
  • Driver hours of service planning, monitoring and review
  • Manage tractor and trailer assets ensuring availability and efficiency
  • Monitor load status and communicate updates to customers and other stakeholders regarding adherence to delivery windows
  • Internal and external reporting
