American Workforce Group has partnered with a Moving & Storage company in The greater Thurston County arealooking for a Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator.

DESCRIPTION FOR DISPATCHER / OPERATIONS COORDINATOR:

  • This position is the central hub of a fast-paced moving and storage operation.
  • The Dispatcher starts the day early generally at 6:30 AM, and is responsible for organizing daily crew schedules, warehouse coordination, and supporting field operations via phone throughout the day.
  • During the winter months, hours typically end around 4:00–5:00 PM. In the summer, hours may extend, and some Saturdays will be required.
  • This is an on-call position for after-hours crew support. A company cell phone can be provided.
  • This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to manage 25–35 staff members in a high-pressure, constantly shifting environment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DISPATCHER / OPERATIONS COORDINATOR:

  • Moving and storage experience (required)
  • Warehouse experience (required)
  • Lead driver or team lead experience
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable being on call for late crew support
  • Moving & storage experience and warehouse background are required.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position and follows all federal drug testing guidelines.
  • Zero tolerance—mandatory drug testing is required.
