This position requires flexibility of hours. EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Minimum one year experience in dispatch, security, law enforcement or military. Experience in hospital security and/or dispatch operations preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Preferred: Current Public Safety Dispatchers' Basic Course certification issued by California (CA) POST SKILLS: AVADE training required within 90 days of hire/transfer. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Conflict resolution skills with the ability to function decisively under stress. Flexibility and ability to prioritize. Bilingual preferred. Communicates fluently in Spanish preferred. ‎ Job Title: Dispatcher Per Diem ‎ Department: Security ‎ Shift Duration: 8 ‎ Primary Shift: Nights ‎ Time Type: Part time ‎ Location: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105 ‎ Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $25.20 - $27.09.
