JOB OVERVIEW

PlumbingForce is a National Plumbing and Gas company seeking a driven and passionate Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. This role is suited for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service while supporting our field engineers.
Location: Warlingham CR6 9AT must be able to commute

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong phone manner with the ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
  • Experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service roles is preferred but not required (full training provided)
  • Proficiency in dispatch management systems is desired
  • Ability to accurately manage payments, invoices, and job-related documentation
  • Problem-solving mindset with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, with Saturday shifts on rotation

Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers with processing credit card payments for completed jobs
  • Ensure accurate completion of job records with the correct information
  • Support engineers throughout the day by addressing job-related queries and coordinating schedules
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding appointment times, delays, or re-bookings
  • Maintain precise records of payments, job completions, and invoicing within our system
  • Work as part of the dispatch team to ensure smooth daily operations and respond quickly to challenges
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by solving potential issues with a proactive and sympathetic approach
  • Handle a 5-day workweek with Saturday shifts on a rotation, and receive a rota day off during the week when working Saturdays
