This is a PM shift - the schedule is Monday - Friday 3pm - TBD (until the work is completed). Role and Responsibilities: • Plan, route and execute freight deliveries and pick-ups • Maintain positive working relationships and a high level of engagement with JAF customers, Drivers, Customer Service and Carriers • Make decisions that comply with policies and established guidelines • Utilize software to enter, update and monitor freight/driver locations • Maintain a high regard for safety and DOT compliance and regulations Requirements 3+ years of previous transportation dispatch experience, knowledge of local P&D operations Excellent geographical knowledge of Chicago 6 county area and southern Wisconsin Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, TMS software Ability to support and work closely with Operations Coordinator Excellent communication skills Ability to make critical decisions in a timely manner following company procedures and core values
