POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable, energetic Dispatcher with strong multitasking skills and a positive attitude to join our team. This hourly position reports directly to the Dispatch Manager/Team Leader and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is responsible for coordinating service calls, managing technician schedules, supporting team members, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication and organizational skills, and is committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Dispatcher or similar experience
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to use different computer systems for assigned tasks
• Knowledge of the HVAC or plumbing industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Spanish speaking preferred

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate support to customers and team members
• Answer incoming calls from technicians regarding service, billing, and job-related matters
• Monitor technician progress to ensure on-time arrivals and efficient job flow
• Follow up on all recommended service work
• Update service orders throughout the day to maintain accuracy and completeness
• Monitor weather, traffic, and other factors to optimize technician routing
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and keep customers informed
• Handle customer concerns and escalate as needed
• Make outbound calls to schedule, confirm, or survey appointments
• Effectively communicate service and product information
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
