Description Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher/Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services, ensuring timely and efficient operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: - Create and route schedule - Perform confirmation calls - Coordinate and schedule transportation services for clients - Monitor and track vehicle locations and status to ensure timely trips - Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other team members - Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust routes as necessary - Maintain accurate records of schedules, routes, and reports - Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address any inquiries or concerns - Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficient in using scheduling software and GPS systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Must be a self starter and team player - Proficient with MS Excel, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook Education and Experience: - Previous experience in dispatching or scheduling is required - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or transportation is a plus Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. *Near New Carrollton Metro Station* $22.15 hr plus an additional $5.09 hr in H&W benefits *Paid holiday, vacation, and sick leave *We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident coverage, Legal Coverage, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and 401k.
