The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing the flow of information between emergency services, clients, and surveillance teams. This position requires strong communication skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a keen understanding of security protocols. The ideal candidate will be proactive in ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

SKILLS

• Strong background in law enforcement, dispatching or security operations is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of surveillance technology, including CCTV systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and coordination.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Familiarity with dispatching software or systems is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years of previous dispatch experience in a security or law enforcement industry
• Dispatch software experience, TrackTek or other software
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check

Experience:

• Monitor and respond to incoming calls and communications from other monitoring centers, emergency services, and security personnel.
• Coordinate the deployment of resources to various locations as needed, ensuring timely responses to incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications, incidents, and actions taken during shifts.
• Utilize CCTV systems to monitor premises and provide real-time updates to relevant teams.
• Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
• Assist in training new dispatch staff on protocols, procedures, and the use of surveillance technology.
