ABOUT US
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensary Team Lead to lead and manage the provision of pharmacy services, including the afterhours pharmacy service. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, this role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of medications across the hospital and affiliated institutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing pharmacists, pharmacy interns, technicians, assistants, and other support staff. In addition to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, the Dispensary Team Lead will take on key supervisory and operational management responsibilities. This includes performing and supervising drug distribution tasks, engaging in patient services, clinical duties, and educational activities in designated areas, all in alignment with departmental policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone who embodies professionalism, courtesy, and a commitment to excellence, reflecting the hospital’s mission and philosophy of service.
Join us in making a meaningful impact on patient care and be part of a team that values leadership, integrity, and collaboration.
