Bring your customer service skills and in return, you will be fully trained to manage a portfolio of injured workers who need your ongoing support. As a Dispute Resolution Officer you will play a key role in the resolution of disputes, working alongside our team of claims experts and external legal providers and representing EML at the South Australian Employment Tribunal. This will be a full time, permanent position based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Actively develop workers compensation dispute minimisation and resolution strategies and manage the end to end dispute process Collaborate with internal claims teams and external stakeholders to develop and drive dispute resolution strategies to reach timely resolutions for all parties Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and governance requirements by keeping abreast of relevant governance, regulatory and legal obligation Attend the South Australian Employment Tribunal to progress matters and drive outcomes ABOUT YOU Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information to diverse stakeholders Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality Proven strategy development, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to meet the needs of all stakeholders Tertiary studies or previous experience in legal, mediation or dispute resolution is advantageous WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
