QUALIFICATIONS
· Formal training in brewing, distillation, or beverage processing.
· A genuine interest in small-batch distilling, botanicals, sourcing local ingredients; while consistently producing only the highest quality products.
· Understanding of distilling and brewing science and a working knowledge of the equipment and systems that go along with it with an emphasis on practical brewing/distilling techniques aimed at quality, consistency, and flavour.
· Super-organized and tidy.
· Self-motivated and great at problem-solving. Must be comfortable independently starting, managing, and finishing projects.
· Compliant with in-house and all national and industry safety regulations.
· Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and be on your feet most of the time.
· Drive and passion to continually cultivate your craft through experience, research, and education.
· Comfortable driving forklift or learning to do so.
· Drivers License and SmartServe.
· Maintaining and coordinating daily operations at the distillery.
· Working as a team member to facilitate a streamlined, creative, and functional atmosphere.
· Milling, mashing, distilling.
· Maintaining distillery equipment.
· Ensuring the distillery is squeaky clean, organized, and looking its best.
· Maintaining inventory.
· Interacting with the public, assisting with walk-in sales.
· General maintenance around the distillery.
