Job Description REQUIREMENTS: 13+ years of technology experience, with 5-7+ years in an Enterprise or Solution Architecture role. Proven domain expertise in the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Pharma industries. Strong expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, microservices, APIs). Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and Generative AI frameworks (e.g., LLMs, ML Ops). Proven understanding and application of FHIR/HL7 standards and healthcare data models. Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern integration patterns (API management, event-driven architectures). Demonstrated experience designing systems compliant with HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11. Cloud Architecture Certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience with EHR/EMR systems and clinical data standards (e.g., CDISC). Proven track record of building and mentoring high-performing technology teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: Owning the technology health of the project / account on all key metrics Ensuring projects / accounts meet technical standards of governance, technology standards and best practices Owning the long term as well as the short-term technology strategy of your project / account Identifying opportunities in the current engagement to cross sell or up sell Nagarro’s offerings Conceptualizing and owning the technical architecture and design of the projects you are influencing Harnessing your consulting skills in a culture that promotes opportunities to provide thought leadership and breakthrough solutions for our clients. Running workshops internally and with customers on technology and business topics to create new solution areas and use cases Communicating and driving adoption of organizational technology initiatives in your account Mentoring and managing team members, by giving constant on-the-job feedback, and by providing guidance If you are aligned with a Center of Excellence (CoE) or practice – Defining the vision for the practice/CoE, creating plan/budget for the practice Interacting with multiple projects/accounts to create innovative use cases, assessing RoI, creating rapid prototypes and interfacing with client stakeholders to implement solutions Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
The Distinguished Engineer will own the technology health of projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and governance. They will also mentor team members and drive the adoption of technology initiatives within their accounts.
