Job Description We are seeking a seasoned and versatile Database Administrator to join our technical team. In this role, you will be crucial in providing 360° support for the database layer of various mission-critical services, managing diverse technologies, and actively participating in international projects. As a DBA, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle support of our database environments: Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all supported database systems. Perform daily operational tasks including backups, recovery, patching, upgrades, and monitoring across different database platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents in mission-critical, high-stress environments. Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize query performance and database design. Contribute to international projects involving database migration, infrastructure evolution, and technology standardization. Provide expertise and recommendations on database architecture and technology choices. Qualifications Solid expertise (mandatory) in at least two of the following database technologies: PostgreSQL / EDB MS SQL Server Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems. Proficiency in at least one scripting or procedural language: PSQL, TSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, PowerShell, or Python. Upper intermediate level (B2) of written and spoken English. Experience with other major database systems: Oracle MySQL Familiarity with Cloud Database Services (e.g., AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL). AWS experience is a significant plus. A Degree in Information Technology, Maths, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent professional working experience.
