You will organize stock, maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders. Keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed. While you are performing your duties and assignments, we expect that you perform them in a safe and timely manner. Our products consist of outdoor fire pits, indoor fire mantles, fire boxes and outdoor furniture. Our emphasis is on safety and teamwork. This position provides backup and support to key positions within the Distribution Center team which consists of 6 employees total. We are a small and efficient group and have a lot of fun working together! Essential Functions Support team members in all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure that the day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved Trained to print and pull pick tickets Process, pack, and ship orders error free Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed Inspect products for damages; report as needed Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products Prepare products for shipping Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures Comply with all employee guideline specified in the company employee handbook Comply with all related work rules specified by the location manager Comply with specified standardized work instructions specific to various tasks Perform cycle count actions as needed Ability to pick, pack, and prepare to ship LTL, and small parcel outbound shipments Perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, hands, fingers, legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling of materials, and operating machinery Perform repetitive motions using your hands and fingers such as, but not limited to, grasping, gripping, and holding Carrying & lifting 10 – 125 pounds frequently Requirements Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug-screening & physical Must have a mechanical aptitude Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move up to 125 pounds frequently Abide by all company safety regulations Team player with organizational skills Ability to take care of customers’ needs while following company procedures Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal Ability to communicate effectively with others Your base hours are from 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. These hours may change or vary based on the business needs. As a retail business this will include extra and varying hours including holidays during the peak seasons. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required 3 years minimum experience in a distribution operation that included picking, shipping, and receiving Tek RF experience required Proficient computer skills and use of Microsoft Office tools Ability to operate a forklift (stand up, sit down, high reach, powered hand trucks), pallet jacks, and all other necessary warehouse equipment
