Coordinate the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods to ensure warehouse and distribution activities are completed smoothly and efficiently.
Supervise distribution center personnel, including forklift operators, drivers, and other support staff, while ensuring assigned duties are completed safely, accurately, and within required timelines.
Plan delivery schedules and routes and coordinate with transportation providers to support reliable and timely shipment of products.
Maintain accurate stock records by reconciling physical inventory with system data and ensuring appropriate stock rotation and control procedures are followed.
Prepare regular logistics reports, including KPI updates, inventory summaries, dispatch information, and other operational data for management review.
Monitor warehouse capacity, vehicle availability, workforce utilization, and other operational resources to identify opportunities for improving efficiency.
Coordinate with sales, purchasing, inventory, and other relevant teams to maintain product availability and support effective delivery planning.
Manage returned goods, rejected deliveries, damaged shipments, and logistics claims while coordinating with the appropriate departments for timely resolution.
Identify workflow issues and operational inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement activities within warehouse and distribution operations.
Support implementation of workplace safety procedures, warehouse standards, and logistics requirements to ensure activities remain compliant and properly controlled.
Minimum 1 year of practical experience in logistics, warehouse operations, distribution, inventory control, or a similar field.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to maintain data, prepare basic reports, and manage operational information.
Strong leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a practical approach to daily operational challenges.
Previous experience supervising warehouse, transport, or distribution personnel will be considered an advantage.
