Company logo [https://c.smartrecruiters.com/sr-company-logo-prod-aws-dc5/5bd9b06ee8da3e7aa7e901c1/huge?r=s3-eu-central-1&_1543535626169] Distribution Center Material Handler 1125 W Amity Rd, Boise, ID 83705, USA Full-time Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Distribution Center Material Handler position. The Distribution Center Material Handler is responsible for pulling freight from the warehouse inventory and shipping it to our different branches and customers. The Material Handler is also responsible for accurate inventory maintenance as well as receiving, conducting check-ins, and processing into the computer all incoming freight as well as filling and distributing back orders. Problem solving includes resolving inventory discrepancies with outer branches and with vendors. Impact includes potential for internal and external customer service implications. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Pick, palletize, wrap, and ship freight for outer store and customer orders * Pick, pack, and ship single/multiple packages via UPS, FedEx, etc. * Unload incoming freight * Check-in and label all freight, ensuring accuracy * Check-in and label all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy * Drive a forklift * Fill back orders, restock shelves and bin locations * Meet deadlines and follow fulfillment schedules * Effectively communicate with co-workers from various departments or outer stores * Participate in Inventory Cycle Counts * Adhere to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules * Follow safe work practices in performance of all duties and follow the company’s safety policies daily * Work well with a team * Maintain work areas in a neat and clean manner * Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary * Wage $20/Hr Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Forklift certification or willingness to obtain * Perform basic mathematics calculations: add, subtract, multiply, divide * Good verbal and written communication skills * Ability to accurately enter data into a computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to occasionally lift over 100 lbs Additional information Norco offers a competitive compensation/benefit package, including: * Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) * Health, Vision and Dental Insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA)  * Medical and Dependent Care Flex Accounts (FSA) * Life Insurance provided at no cost to employee by Norco  * Supplemental Accident, Disease, and Life Insurance options * Employee Tuition Reimbursement * 401(k) with Employer Matching * Employee Discount on products sold by Norco Company Description Founded in 1948, Norco is headquartered in Boise, Idaho and has more than 70 branches in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Utah and Wyoming.
