EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably with a Supply Chain focus, or an equivalent of relevant DC operations experience and education
  • 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrate ability to develop analytical and problem-solving skills (i.e. critical and evaluative thinking) required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and partner across departments and levels to engage decisions.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

Responsibilities
  • Lead a group of 6 or more trainers, across multiple shifts.
  • Searching for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity and safety among staff
  • Researching new training supplies and materials that can enhance a firm’s training procedures while providing value to employees
  • Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training
  • Leading programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological changes
  • Communicating with management, trainers, and associates to ensure that all needs are met
  • Exhibits strong leadership by driving vision, fostering collaboration, promoting operational excellence, developing talent and executing initiatives.
  • Conducting orientation programs and arranging on-the-job training for new hires
  • Manage multiple learning projects at a time through various phases of learning design. (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation)Demonstrates strong communication and influencing skills and develops ongoing relationships with internal and external project team members
