Description
About Us   Codan is a global Group of innovative technology businesses delivering solutions across communications, detection and connection technologies. Our technologies are relied upon by defence forces, public safety and emergency responders, humanitarian organisations, and resource industries. We design, develop and manufacture hardware and software solutions that help people stay connected, operate safely, and perform at their best when it matters most. Established in 1959 and listed in the ASX200 index, Codan (CDA) has grown into a trusted international business with more than 1,100 people across 15 locations worldwide including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, UAE, Ireland, Mexico, Singapore, the UK and the USA. Our products are sold in more than 150 countries. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on our purpose to meaningfully transform lives through being a trusted provider of innovative ruggedised and reliable communications and consumer products across our core global markets.   About the Role   As a valued member of our Distribution Team, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the efficient assembly, packing, and shipment of orders to customers. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the storage, transport, and receipt of goods — ensuring that every item is handled with accuracy and care. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.   Key Responsibilities:   Receive, unpack, and inspect goods and stock from internal and external suppliers. Organise, verify, pack, and weigh customer orders for shipment. Liaise daily with freight and courier drivers regarding pick-up schedules, loading and unloading, and shipment documentation. Prepare and consolidate packing lists in line with company quality standards. Assist with goods received and inventory flow to meet production demand. Maintain accurate stock control and transaction recording in SAP. Support the continual improvement of quality processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency.   About You   You’re a proactive and reliable team player who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and quality. With previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, you bring practical aptitude, a willingness to learn new skills, and a strong focus on customer service. You have solid communication and time management skills, are comfortable using computer systems such as SAP, and work systematically to maintain high standards. Ideally, you hold a forklift licence and bring a proactive, can-do attitude to your work. You’re adaptable, collaborative, and take pride in maintaining a safe and efficient environment while continuously seeking ways to improve and deliver outstanding results.    Benefits and Culture   Our culture is supportive and collaborative. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where we share our ideas and innovation is strongly encouraged.  We are looking for someone with genuine passion and can-do attitude for what they do. Our Head office is located in Mawson Lakes offering a spacious, modern facility, free secure onsite parking, easy access via public transport, and an onsite subsidised café. We also have recreational facilities including a gym, basketball and tennis court, as well as various game tables. Additionally, our staff are provided flexibility to meet the demands of family life, a child-friendly parenting room, and a variety of staff events to connect with colleagues across the Codan Group.   Interested in a career with us?
