Job Details Job Location: HAMILTON MEDICAL CENTER - DALTON, GA 30722 Position Type: Part Time Job Shift: Varies Job Category: Materials Management JOB SUMMARY Audits and stocks assigned areas, nurse servers and various mobile supply carts. Maintains PAR areas according to established PAR levels. Makes PAR level recommendations based on observed usage history and customer requests. Maintains storeroom cleanliness, Maintains cleanliness of PAR areas. Assists with in-coming stock and rotates stock on shelves according to inventory policy. Relieves and distributes inventory items upon request. Performs cycle counts on stock inventory. Labels chargeable supply items with patient charge labels. Transports medical equipment, supplies and other requested items to proper areas. Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School graduate or equivalent Licensure: N/A Experience: Inventory experience desirable. Hospital supply experience preferred. Skills: Must have computer experience. Acquires and maintains knowledge of MediClick MMIS system. Requires the ability to prioritize and complete assignments in timely fashion. Customer service experience is a must. Must acquire and maintain knowledge of a perpetual inventory system. Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department staff and organization staff. Must be a team player. PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS Excessive amount of walking, standing, reaching stooping, pushing and pulling. Mental efforts include inventory control. Auditing and restocking of supply carts and maintaining records of stock issues. Work in inside. There is a moderate noise environment. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions, moderate amount of stress and emergency situations such as STAT orders. Responsibilities
