Employment Opportunity Sheridan Nurseries Distribution is actively searching for: General Labour Seasonal, Full Time Position Summary: These full time seasonal positions are at our Distribution facility in Georgetown, Ontario, and involve repetitive work which may include shipping, receiving, order assembly, and plant labelling. Must be able to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment often outside in inclement weather conditions. Will require evening and weekend work, depending on seasonal weather patterns. Your Accountabilities: Communicate effectively for job requirements and safety Meet daily targets for quality and productivity Activities related to logistics and supply chain support, including shipping, receiving, order assembly, and plant labelling Promote a safe and healthy working environment Able to join other work crews as priorities require at the direction of Management Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Work well with others in a team environment Must be in good physical condition and enjoy work in outdoor conditions Requires your own transportation arrangements to the Nursery No education and no experience required This job requires extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the ability to lift up to 50lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
