We're seeking a collaborative and experienced Distribution Manager to lead operations across our Carlisle, PA warehouse operation. If you're passionate about supply chain excellence, safety, and developing high-performing teams, we’d love to hear from you! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead and manage all distribution functions, including receipt and storage of raw materials, finished goods thru-put, inventory, transportation planning and execution, carrier management, and outbound order fulfillment. * Champion a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment — free from discrimination and harassment. * Collaborate with Production Scheduling, Plant Production, and Inventory Control teams to ensure seamless product flow and inventory accuracy. * Oversee compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for campus commercial vehicles and drivers. * Maintain strong operational performance using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), SAP, and Microsoft Office tools. * Build strong relationships across internal teams, vendors, and freight carriers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KEY DUTIES: * Direct operations for receiving, storing, and fulfilling orders across multiple plants (Plant 4, Plant 5, Plant 6). * Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and training to meet business needs. * Ensure all personnel are properly trained and certifications are up to date. * Oversee and support annual physical inventory of finished goods. * Drive compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for commercial vehicles and driver management. * Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment performance. * Manage department expense supplies and forklift fleet operations. * Participate in and lead safety, operations, scheduling, and distribution meetings. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS: Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
