JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and Distribution Manager to oversee our logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods from our warehouse to customers, while optimising processes and managing a team. This role requires a strong understanding of warehousing/transportation and continuous improvement practices.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a automotive distribution or logistics management role is preferable.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of customer relations related to distribution operations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in implementing continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular assessments of business processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Monitor systems related to distribution activities and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Train, mentor, and lead warehouse staff in operational procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
