Distribution Manager – Southern Region Location: Melbourne Join Fidante as a Distribution Manager and play a key role in driving growth across our Southern Region. This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced distribution or business development professional to further their career with one of Australia’s largest and most respected active investment managers. Fidante provides investors with access to best-in-class investment managers through a curated range of active strategies spanning equities, fixed income and alternative assets. We partner with leading global investment teams to deliver differentiated investment solutions across liquid and illiquid markets. About the role As Distribution Manager, you will take ownership of existing adviser relationships while driving new business growth across Victoria and Tasmania, with a strong focus on Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs). Working autonomously within the National Service Strategy, you will be responsible for growing affiliate fund manager sales across your allocated accounts, building strong, trusted relationships and expanding Fidante’s presence in the market. Key responsibilities include: Acting as a trusted advocate for Fidante’s boutique fund managers, articulating their unique value propositions Building, managing and deepening long-term adviser and client relationships Driving growth in funds under management across Fidante Partners’ investment strategies Leading the acquisition of Seed and Cornerstone investments for new boutiques across wholesale clients Representing Fidante as a brand ambassador, maintaining a strong and professional market presence Delivering engaging presentations, seminars and meetings to advisers (in person and virtually) Collaborating with colleagues nationally and mentoring less experienced team members Skills & experience We’re looking for a high-performing, relationship-focused professional with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for investments. You will bring: 5+ years’ experience in a primary sales, distribution or business development role within financial services A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and contributing to broader national initiatives Experience as a Business Development Manager within funds management or financial services (highly regarded) Strong investment knowledge across Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives An established adviser network across Victoria and Tasmania (highly advantageous) Excellent communication, relationship management and presentation skills The ability to identify, develop and execute long-term sales strategies RG146 compliance (essential) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related discipline (highly regarded) Professional certifications such as CFA or CIMA (preferred) Additional Information Working at Fidante, as part of the Challenger Limited Group we’re small enough to be agile, but big enough to accelerate bold ideas.
