HPP Food Services is a leading food and beverage manufacturing company in southern California. The company has an amazing opportunity for a Shipping & Receiving Manager in the Wilmington area whose primary role is to oversee the efficient incoming and outgoing shipments in the warehouse. They also oversee the staff and ensure that all operations adhere to policies and regulations.
This role ensures that the shipment and distribution of goods happen smoothly and efficiently, contributing to customer satisfaction. That the orders are correct as per pick tickets and are loaded as per Shipping Schedule.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare shipping documents and labeling packages for shipment
2. Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
3. Monitor inventory stocks and place orders as required.
4. Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping and receiving.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
6. Verify that the products are received in good condition and are stored as per allocated spaces in the warehouse.
7. Receive inbounds for RM, Packaging and WIP product from different vendors and verify the quantities by comparing it with BOLs.
8. Distribute workload between team members efficiently.
9. Ensure orders are ready as per Shipping & Receiving schedule and handover the required paperwork to shipping clerk upon completion.
10. Conduct meetings as needed with the shift to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies within the department.
11. Place finished goods orders as per zones allocated for pickups.
12. Identify and promptly report any issues (inventory, quality, mechanical, product, material, or damage to company property) to the lead.
13. Communicate clear instructions to team members and encourage open lines of communication between them.
14. Foster a positive and supportive team environment where employees feel comfortable helping each other.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 per hour
