Reporting directly to the Director of Distribution Sales, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of our global distribution strategy. Your focus will be on optimizing inventory flow, managing third-party logistics (3PL) relationships, and ensuring our commitment to "right thing, right way" is reflected in every shipment.   Qualifications & Requirements: * Strong Relationship Building: Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with distribution partners and key channel stakeholders. * Strategic Channel Management: Practical experience developing  and managing strategic stocking packages to drive market penetration and product availability. * Distribution & Logistics Expertise: 5+ years of experience in high-volume distribution, specifically within component manufacturing or value-add sectors. * Inventory & Warehouse Management: Deep understanding of cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and warehouse optimization techniques (Slotting, Kanban, etc.). * 3PL & Carrier Relations: Proven experience managing third-party logistics providers and freight carriers to drive cost efficiencies and service reliability. * Operational Execution: Strong ability to take corporate "Standard Work" frameworks and translate them into actionable daily routines for warehouse and logistics teams. * Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). * Travel Readiness: Ability to travel up to 30% to various sites to ensure compliance with distribution standards and to support site-level logistics improvements. Our core values - Accountability, Collaboration, and Empowerment (ACE) - are the foundation of how we operate and drive success. You will take ownership of your contributions, collaborate with a team that gets stuff done, and be empowered to innovate and pursue bold initiatives that drive our business forward.     Are You Our Next ACE? * Tactical Execution of Standard Work: Implement and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed by the Director, ensuring all distribution activities are consistent, repeatable, and scalable. * KPI Management & Reporting: Monitor and report on key distribution metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Order Accuracy, and Freight Spend, using data to identify and resolve bottlenecks. * Inventory Governance: Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy across all nodes, minimizing variances and ensuring seamless integration between physical stock and digital records. * Distribution Partner Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for distribution partners, conducting regular performance reviews and ensuring they align with Winchester’s evolving service promises. * Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation or process lean-outs within the warehouse environment to reduce lead times and operational overhead. * Safety & Compliance: Ensure all distribution centers and activities remain in full compliance with safety regulations and international shipping standards.
