THE ROLE

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Distribution Sales Manager to support the Trade National Account Manager in leading and developing our Trade/Internal Sales team. This is a key role in our growing business, focused on achieving sales targets, driving team performance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Trade/Internal Sales Team on a day-to-day basis
• Ensure monthly and annual internal sales targets are met
• Support the TNAM in developing wholesale client relationships
• Set individual priorities and objectives aligned with sales plans
• Coach and monitor team performance using structured processes
• Collaborate with marketing to develop growth-focused materials
• Ensure the team has the technical and sales competencies to succeed
• Promote cross-functional collaboration across departments
• Leverage group customers to drive growth and profitability
• Uphold company policies and participate in training and development
• Act as a positive role model and provide clear direction
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and suggest sales strategies
• Monitor and analyse telephone system reports to improve efficiency
