JOB TITLE: Distribution Specialist Supervisor REPORTS TO: Distribution Manager DEPARTMENT: Candidate Services LOCATION: 6211 Greenleigh Avenue, Suite 400, Middle River, MD 21220 US JOB OVERVIEW The role of a Supervisor, Document Management is responsible for development and execution of processing and logistics strategy. This includes budgeting, continuous improvement of processes to gain efficiencies, quality control and interaction with Client teams and Sr. Management. RESPONSIBILITIES Stock Control and Inventory Management – stock accuracy, perpetual inventory, stock traceability, secure storage, manage inventory turns Oversee scanning/scoring/shipping of PBT materials in a fully secure manner Stock Optimization and inventory cost control – inventory planning models Costing and Budget Control Business Improvement – process and systems improvements Quality and Productivity Improvement – operational cost improvement Managing to key operational performance measures – meeting SLA’s and Metrics People management – developing and coaching staff, developing capability and flexibility Health and Safety – risk assessments, H&S awareness Materials Handling – knowledge of materials handling and storage Vendor Management – negotiate contracts, manage service levels Excellent communication skills Managing demand fluctuations – forward planning Project and transformational management – experience of managing change Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years’ leadership experience preferred Experience in a secured environment preferred Experience in shipping and receiving Attention to detail Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Development of various reports on staff productivity, inventory management, and other scorecards as required Experience with paper or printed material storage and secure distribution Employee management and understanding of human resource policy, including accurate time management.
