Description
Work cross functionally to ensure effective and timely communication of company, plant and department information to managers, peers, and own work team, including supervisors, leads and partners. Support all established plant and distribution goals and objectives. Work closely and professionally with internal and external partners. Facilitate change management in a high paced, evolving work environment that requires leaders to be nimble and versatile. Ensure appropriate staffing to meet new business requirements and volume fluctuations. Support food safety, legality, and quality programs. Four-year College degree Automated Distribution Environment (1 year) Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards including Preventive Controls for Human Food (FDA Code of Federal Regulations) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Experience with the GFSI certification schemes (i.e. BRC and/or or SQF). Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies, problem solving, and lean manufacturing.
