Job Title: Distribution Tech- Delivery Driver Cost Center: 101651043 SCM-Central Distribution Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; day shifts (United States of America) Job Description: The Distribution Tech – Delivery Truck Driver completes a multitude of different tasks including: completion of computerized order entry, distribution of supplies, and equipment and completes shipping and receiving functions for merchandise. This individual will maintain inventory management processes, meet supply needs with prompt delivery and ensure accuracy. The Distribution Technician – Delivery Truck Driver may also be responsible for the delivery of supplies and equipment to various offsite locations throughout Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS). This individual insures the working order and availability of distribution equipment. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred/Optional: Associate degree in healthcare or business administration. EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: One year computer experience. Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control, supply distribution and material handling along with two years of driving experience. Preferred/Optional: Experience with inventory control, supply distribution and material handling within a healthcare setting along with two years of experience in transportation. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: State of Wisconsin valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
