POSITION SUMMARY

The Cafeteria Manager will oversee daily food service operations for Overton ISD, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local child nutrition regulations. This individual will lead a small team in preparing and serving healthy meals, managing inventory and budgets, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of child nutrition guidelines and food safety practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and reporting.
