PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The District Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing the administrative and operational functions of an ASO within a designated district. Reporting directly to the Director of District Leadership, the District Leader ensures efficient service delivery, compliance, and effective collaboration between the ASO, providers, and stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties outline key responsibilities for the District Leader position. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

  • Regional Operations Oversight
  • Manage the daily operations of the ASO within the assigned district, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and goals.
  • Monitor the performance of service delivery, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for district-level operations and resolve operational challenges.
  • Provider and Stakeholder Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with behavioral health providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between the ASO and providers to ensure clarity on processes, expectations, and requirements.
  • Address concerns or complaints from providers or stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for district operations, such as service utilization, provider compliance, and client outcomes.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to ASO leadership, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement operational improvements.
  • Contract Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure district operations comply with ASO contracts, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor provider adherence to contractual obligations, including performance metrics and documentation requirements.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service outcomes.
  • Budget and Resource Management
  • Oversee district-level budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining service quality.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure financial compliance with organizational policies.
  • Crisis and Issue Management
  • Develop and implement strategies to address operational challenges, such as service disruptions or provider concerns.
  • Coordinate responses to urgent issues, ensuring minimal impact on service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve conflicts and mitigate risks.
  • Community and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Represent the ASO at district-level meetings, forums, and events to promote collaboration and partnership.
  • Advocate for the needs and priorities of the district with organizational leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Work with community partners to identify opportunities for improving behavioral health services in the district.
