Job Overview:  The District Manager oversees operations of one primary store and provides leadership and operational oversight to additional locations within their district. This role ensures each store operates efficiently and profitably while delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining company standards, and driving team performance.  Duties & Responsibilities:  * Direct daily operations of the home store while overseeing additional locations (see General Manager job description).  * Monitor financial performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and take proactive steps to meet or exceed revenue and profit goals.  * Identify operational challenges and collaborate with other departments/district managers to develop innovative solutions to enhance the company’s performance.  * Hire, train, mentor, and develop store managers and key personnel.  * Conduct regular team meetings (conference/virtual/in-person), one-on-ones, and performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to store managers.  * Serve as a role model for company values and uphold high guest satisfaction standards.  * Address and resolve escalated guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.  * Monitor and evaluate food quality and safety standards, including temperature control, sanitation practices, and ingredient freshness; and conduct regular operational inspections and audits.  * Collaborate with other departments providing insight and feedback to improve processes to promote company success.  * Collaborate with marketing team to plan and implement promotions and engage in local store marketing efforts.  * Maintain financial, operational, and personnel-related data in related platforms.  * Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and opportunities to enhance competitive positioning.  * Any other responsibility that aligns with the role.    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  * Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills  * Ability to analyze financial statements, manage P&L, and implement strategies to improve profitability.  * Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.  * Knowledge of fast-food industry trends and best practices  * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  * Proficient in MS Office and restaurant management software * Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.     Minimum Qualifications:  * High school diploma or equivalent  * At least five (5) years of general management experience  * At least two (2) years of restaurant experience  * Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.  * Must have current Food Handler’s card (Maricopa & Pinal counties only).  * Must achieve Food Protection Manager certification within 90 days of hire and maintain.    Preferred Qualifications: * Four-year degree in business or related field.  * Previous experience managing multiple locations or units.  * Experience in accounting software.  * Experience in public speaking.  * Experience leading a team of multiple levels of reports.  Physical Demands:   * Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.  * Work around hot equipment, oil, extreme cold (walk-in freezer), loud noises for the duration of shift.    * Must be able to remain standing for the duration, excluding breaks.   * Must be able to lift 50lbs.  * Perform physical activities that require considerable use of hands, wrists, fingers, arms, legs, and bending at the waist (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials) for the duration of shift.  * Use of cognitive skills including, but not limited to, learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem-solving, and comprehending for the duration of shift.  * Willingness to travel to Tucson/Phoenix and work flexible hours as needed.  The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
