At Excel Recruitment, we’re proud to be exclusively partnered with our long-standing client as they search for a driven and experienced Area Manager to join their expanding fast food business. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact role with a major player in the QSR world.
As Area Manager, you’ll report directly to the Operations Manager, taking charge of the overall leadership and performance of both company owned and franchised restaurants within your region.
Your mission? To make sure each store is hitting the mark whether it’s sales, service, people, or profit. You’ll be the driving force behind results, culture, and consistency across your patch.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as an Area Manager or Multi-Site Leader in fast food, hospitality, or retail
  • A natural leader who knows how to empower and grow high-performing teams
  • A hands-on operator who understands the numbers and can turn insights into action
  • Brilliant at building relationships - with franchisees, team members, and customers alike
  • Top-notch organisation and communication skills - you’re clear, confident, and motivating
  • Comfortable giving direction and holding people accountable - with a coaching mindset
  • A role model in professionalism, energy, and results-driven leadership
  • Full clean driving licence

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Restaurant Managers and Franchisees to drive business growth and build strong ties within their local communities
  • Collaborate on Local Store Marketing (LSM) plans that boost both business and brand reputation
  • Set clear action plans for each store whether it’s sales, people, or cost control - and follow up like a pro
  • Lead the charge on recruitment, team development, training, and succession planning - especially as we expand
  • Handle escalated employee or customer issues with tact, urgency, and care to protect the brand and the bottom line
  • Be the bridge between your area and head office working with multiple departments to keep things smooth and smar
