We're looking for a District Operations Manager - a proven operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building high-performing teams, and knows how to translate strategy into results across multiple locations. What you'll do As a District Operations Manager, you’ll lead and elevate operations across multiple branches within your assigned district. You’ll work closely with Regional and Branch leadership to ensure consistent execution, scalable processes, and strong financial performance—while never losing sight of safety and customer experience. Pay Range: $115,000-$130,000 a year Key Responsibilities Lead district-wide operational performance, driving profitability through efficiency, cost control, and standardized best practices. Provide direct operational leadership to a branch when required, or lead district-level and corporate initiatives such as process development, technology implementation, training programs, or operational excellence projects. Develop leaders, supporting the hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of Branch Operations Managers and key operational talent. Elevate customer experience metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), quality (PPM), response time, and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Champion safety and compliance, ensuring regulatory standards and Belt Power safety programs are consistently followed and continuously improved. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Technology to execute business goals and company initiatives. Optimize inventory and working capital, collaborating with Supply Chain to improve material availability and asset utilization. Lead major district projects, including greenfield startups, acquisition integrations, facility expansions or relocations, and technology deployments. Support growth initiatives, coordinating installation and service capabilities to expand both product and service revenue. Step into branch or area leadership roles as needed to support business continuity, leadership development, or start-up operations. Always represent Belt Power with professionalism and integrity while adhering to all safety and PPE requirements. What success looks like Consistent operational execution across all district locations Strong safety performance and regulatory compliance Engaged, capable branch leadership teams Improved customer satisfaction and service metrics Scalable processes that support profitable growth Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5–10+ years of experience in industrial distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, or related operations Proven ability to lead multiple locations across a geographic district Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of operational cost drivers Excellent organizational, prioritization, and execution skills Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency and responsiveness Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Preferred Characteristics Confident, emotionally intelligent leader with strong presence Bias for action and a true sense of ownership Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves Proven change leader with experience implementing new processes and systems Collaborative partner who can influence across functions High integrity, adaptability, and accountability Strong written and verbal communication skills Work Environment & Physical Demands This role spans office, shop, and customer-site environments. Schedule & Travel Full-time role, Monday–Friday, typically 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Frequent overnight travel, occasional overtime, and weekend work may be required based on business needs
