    Location: All Clubs Reports to: Director of Sales & Operations  Status: Exempt / Full Time   The District Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving business results across all clubs in the district. You are responsible for overseeing sales performance, ensuring alignment with company goals, and providing direct support to General Managers and their teams. It is your job to help management understand results, identify the reasons behind performance outcomes, and provide solutions to improve or sustain success. When goals are missed, pressure is on the DSM to uncover the shortcomings, develop strategies, and ensure corrective action is taken for future performance.    You will lead and support the sales operations within Defined Fitness to ensure day-to-day sales tasks and initiatives are executed effectively. The District Sales Manager is constantly working to streamline sales processes, improve efficiency, and increase effectiveness across clubs. At the helm of your district, you will serve as the key driver of sales performance, operational consistency, and accountability, while providing the leadership and guidance necessary for each club to achieve its goals.    Essential Functions & Responsibilities     * Build sales strategies, processes and objectives. * Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity. * Ensure sales KPI Targets and Club goals are consistently met on a monthly basis.  * Develop and manage key performance metrics and dashboards that help Defined Fitness focus on performance drivers.  * Continuous performance management and the timely administration of performance evaluations. * Monitor and enforce consistent execution of all sales processes and activity goals as agreed. * Create consistency across all clubs; build, establish and document procedures and processes related sales.  * Provide strategic recommendations based on objectives, forecasts and performance metrics. * Work with Directors of Marketing, Sales & Ops, and Human Resources to provide assistance with sales incentive and compensation plans.  * Evaluate and implement sales technology, tools or programs. * Participate in management decision-making processes concerning sales issues and procedures. * Mentor, coach and develop team members.  * Serve as an escalation point for the resolution of a process and/or system issue. * Lead and support General Managers, Assistant General Managers, and Fitness Counselors in achieving monthly and quarterly new membership goals. * Ensure all clubs execute Defined Fitness’ sales process with consistency and integrity. * Monitors sales pipelines, outreach performance, and close rates to identify and address weak points. * Hold weekly sales reviews with each club’s leadership to assess performance, celebrate wins, and implement improvement plans. * Ensure every member interaction—sales, onboarding, and service—aligns with the Defined Fitness brand and values. * Collaborate with Fitness and Operations leadership to ensure new members are properly oriented, scheduled for Jump Starts, and set up for long-term success. * Track cancellation trends and implement strategies to reduce early attrition. * Collaborate with the Marketing Director to plan and execute local lead generation events, promotions, and campaigns. * Communicate district sales performance, opportunities, and needs to the Director of Sales & Ops and CEO. * Verify adherence to company policies regarding contracts, pricing, and ethical sales practices. * Identify partnership and outreach opportunities to increase corporate and community memberships. * Support club teams in executing community outreach and corporate partnership initiatives. * •Ensure all 3-Pack sales are properly scheduled, serviced, and converted into full Personal Training agreements. * Collaborate with District Fitness Managers and Fitness Managers to drive accountability between Fitness Counselors and Fitness Managers. *  Review 3-Pack data weekly to identify bottlenecks (unscheduled, incomplete, or unconverted sessions) and take immediate corrective action. * Reinforce the connection between sales and fitness by ensuring all new members experience a high-value, results-focused onboarding process.     Qualifications  * Bachelor’s degree, preferred  * 5+ years professional experience in business strategy, sales planning and sales analytics * Proven track record and success executing strategic projects across multiple departments * Strong leadership, teaming and organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to speak and present to various audience * Self-starter who takes initiative to improve the organization * PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products  * Must have a valid CPR/AED certification, including infant and child, within the first 45 days of employment and maintain valid certification throughout employment     Physical Requirements   * Must be able to sit for extended periods * Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
