JOB SUMMARY

The District Sales Manager looks to work and succeed in a challenging and rewarding environment at NTS. This individual will focus on generating revenue and new business by building and leading a great team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated and competitive sales-focused individual looking to advance their career. The District Sales Manager is an integral part of sales leadership and works closely with other team members and senior sales leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum (7) seven years of successful outside sales, sales management in trench shoring or construction preferred
  • A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required
  • Travel required 50%

Responsibilities
  • Superior leadership, customer service, presentation, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Hire, motivate, train, and proactively assist Outside Sales Representatives in meeting and exceeding their equipment rental, sales, and total revenue goals
  • Forecast/ Report monthly performance of team members
  • Develop, plan, and organize personal strategies to achieve company set goals
  • Complete sales reports and submit to upper management for review
  • Work with Sales Support, VP of Sales, District Manager and Branch Managers to develop new markets, to understand market trends, competition and other matters affecting the profitability of the company
  • Assist Branch Managers with establishing sales territories, goals and forecast for Outside Sales Representatives
  • Develop sales initiatives and initiate other customer-focused events to improve business relationships and drive sales penetration within the district
  • Drive profitable sales growth by providing customer inspired solutions while implementing our market appropriate sales strategy
  • Align inside sales rep activities, goals, and objectives with those of Outside Sales Representatives
  • Promote Key Account (National Account, Strategic Account, and assigned Account) revenue generation within the district
  • Promote efficient and optimal use of Salesforce for effective sales impact and tracking
  • Create revenue, sales and other reports as requested
  • Regularly travel to perform site surveys and customer consultations to determine needs and solutions, and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposals
