Job Posting: District Sales Manager ****This position can be based out of Dallas, TX or Greensboro, NC. **** Job Summary As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within your designated territories. Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility within your assigned territory. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve targets and exceed expectations. Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth. Team Leadership And Management Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Sales Representatives within the territory. Set clear sales targets and KPIs for team members and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure objectives are met. Travel with team members 1-3 times per year Territory Management Effectively manage the distribution and allocation of products across the district to maximize sales potential. Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and key accounts to secure prime shelf space and promotional opportunities. Performance Monitoring And Analysis Track sales performance metrics, including revenue, sell-through rates, and inventory levels, to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed to drive continuous sales growth. Training And Development Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to equip sales team members with product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service skills. Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous learning within the sales team. Reporting And Communication Prepare timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities. Leadership Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. 5-10 years in wholesale or field sales, preferably in apparel, workwear, or lifestyle brand 3-5 years managing sales reps or territories Proven record working with independent retailers, regional chains, and key strategic accounts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to interpret sales data and market insights. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales growth and profitability.
